A month ago we broke ground and just last week we began prepping the project site for the Milk Stacks apartment community. With the help of Verity Construction Co. we officially waved good-bye to our old (and very possibly haunted) office building to clear the way for our newest development and passion project, Milk Stacks.
Our main goal with Milk Stacks is to preserve the unique essence of the Milk District while introducing additional housing options to the community, and we're incredibly grateful to see our message has been heard. In a recent interview with the Orlando Business Journal, Angie Folks, the new Executive Director of the Milk District, generously acknowledged our efforts by giving us a shout-out.
"Atrium [Management] is doing a great job. The building we are in now, is an existing building they took and renovated and left some of the components that made it unique. They didn’t tear it down and start over. The [Milk Stacks site] didn’t have anything to salvage, so that made sense. I very much love embracing the existing structures and if any way possible renovating the building, … They have done a great job of keeping that look to be modernized but not gentrified."
As we continue construction we aim to keep doing right by the Milk District and look forward to hopefully adding another landmark to the eclectic Milk district!
